After experimenting with paintings, collages and woodburings, I found my love for illustration my junior year at Loras College. I became especially fascinated with fashion design; the details in hair and folds of fabric.
Using Adobe Illustrator, I take a photo, manipulate it and draw over it. This allows me to transform an “ordinary” snap shot into something visually and/or conceptually interesting through pattern, the contrast of colors and the tiniest details.
