Working over a two-year period starting in 2013, mygooi's vision was to create a business based social media platform that would help connect Muslims while bringing in customs, traditions and cultural components. The target audience was Middle Eastern countries, specifically faith-based Muslims.
I was responsible for creating the entire user interface design. Beginning with app wireframes, I built a prototype with interactive elements in InVision. I communicated with the team of developers in Chennai, India who worked on coding the app. For the next phase, I focused on designing the long-scrolling website, offering a more immersive browsing experience for the user. Unfortunately, the app and website were never released on the App Store or Google Play as business opportunities shifted.
