At Homemakers I had the opportunity to work outside the normal print and digital spaces that a graphic designer normally finds themself in. In 2020 Homemakers started remodeling their showroom, and in turn I was tasked with the designs of over a dozen of these large-scale projects. I oversaw each of these projects from concept to completion. It involved brainstorming, measuring, mockups, refining, planning and logistics. These big ticket items required a lot of input from several different departments and leadership. One of the biggest challenges I faced was to create visually appealing designs, while also telling a story. I worked closely with Lashier Graphics on the quotes, print production process and installation. I ensured these wall wraps and murals were delivered on time and under budget. Each project had its own unique qualities and obstacles, from medium, to subject matter, to the physical spaces themselves.
